The fearsome female ghost roared loudly and charged towards Ye Jia.Ye Jia however was already prepared for this. Like a burning paper, charred holes slowly spread out, sending cars and streetlights on the roads to fall into the bottomless abyss.Ye Jia walked along the road.On one side of the road was a giant pit that was filled with insects of all sorts of colours and sizes that slowly moved to form the outer walls of a building.The other side of the road was a row of strange looking buildings that looked like they had all their colours and sounds extracted, leaving only black and white and pure silence.The buildings overlapped irregularly, like a strangely stitched together nightmare.It was as if the walls between all those doors had become thin and fragile, eventually collapsing from the pressure, resulting in the different worlds behind the doors mixing together.From one of the crevices in the ground, a terrible roar could be heard.Alongside a bright light, a scythe appeared in Ye Jia’s hand.In the earlier doors, he had killed numerous monsters and had even killed his imposter, but he hadn’t felt that sensation of himself eating something when he did it, so it meant that those things were likely not a true entity, and it didn’t matter much even if they were killed by his scythe.He cut down several monsters that were charging towards him --- They seemed to have escaped from behind Wu Su’s door and have taken over every inch of this nightmare.Ye Jia however didn’t see any traces of Ji Xuan’s world.He took out the Omniscient Eye from his pocket.Since leaving the last door, it hadn’t made any noise. Something on his shoulder seemed to be trying to pull him back but it was to no avail and he continued to approach that ball of flesh, even slowly stretching his hand out…The next moment, a man’s cold touch could be felt from his wrist.A low voice then sounded next to his ears ----- “Shhh…….”“Don’t look…..”In that instant, Ye Jia gritted his teeth, once again regaining control of his body.He gripped tightly onto the chainsaw and charged forward, swinging it such that the sharp chains slashed through the female ghost’s chest in one fell swoop, stabbing into that ball of flesh.A shrill scream sounded, almost rendering him deaf.The walls, the ground, everything trembled alongside that terrible cry, like fallen leaves rustled by a strong gust of wind.Ye Jia held onto the handle of the chainsaw tightly and violently flicked the switch ---- The chainsaw roared, the running blades almost instantly crushing the ball of flesh into pulp.That scream abruptly came to a stop.Ye Jia gasped heavily, his palms wet with sweat.He let go of his weapon and slowly took a few steps back.
