I walked, and chatted with Rin and her friends for a while and finally reached Rin’s house.
Rin’s house is quite close to Rina and Anju’s, as they have known each other since childhood, and their houses are close, or next door, and across the street from each other.
To put away the things they bought from me, it seems they will come after going home and leaving their luggage.
I had to help Anju because she didn’t seem to be able to carry it all.
First, I gave them the items they bought from the [Item Box], and then I went to Anju’s house with Anju.
Then, from the entrance, we put the food and sweets in the living room and kitchen, respectively.
The quantity is tremendous when I look at it again.
That is a good thing I helped them.
And after putting down the things I bought, I went to Rin’s house to wait for Rina and Anju.
“Sorry to bother you.”
“Yes, welcome!”
And as soon as I entered Rin’s house, I was greeted by Rin. Then, she led me straight into the living room.
“Please sit anywhere you like.”
“Okay, I understand. But is it okay if I don’t help you put the things I bought in the fridge or something?”
“Oh my! You don’t need to worry so much. Kaede-san is a guest, so please take your time.
So, as Rin told me, I meekly sat on the sofa in the living room.
I sat on the sofa, then saw Rin in the kitchen, quickly putting the food she bought into the refrigerator.
She looks like a different person from when we went to the dungeon together before.
At that time, was it more like naivete?
I didn’t think she would cook like that. I guess it goes to show that people are not what they seem.
“Rin-chan!”
“Here I come~.”
I thought I would be a little angry if they knew I was here when Rina and Anju came to the living room.
I didn’t hear the intercom, but I guess that’s how close the three are.
“Welcome.”
“Oh! – why is Kaede-san saying that?”
I called out to them as I came to the living room, and Rin, who giggled, butted in.
“Well, don’t worry about the details. That was a lot of food, so it’s a little late now. I thought it would take a little longer since there was that much to do.”
I’m not sure how long it will take me to get there. I’m sure you’ll be able to find a way to get it done in no time.
“Hey.”
“Yeah, um, …… it’s okay. I just carried a few snacks and stuff to Anju-chan’s room.”
“Oh, I see. ……”
Judging from this exchange, she must be like this regularly.
Rina’s eyes are somewhat distant, though.
“You two help me cook~.”
“Uh-huh.”
“Ryo ka~ii.”
Hah, I knew it was going to be like this.
I mean, when did Rina and Anju become good friends?
Well, it’s good that they get along.
And as for me, I’m looking at the three, feeling a bit out of touch.
……After all, I’m helping out too.
“Ah, Kaede-san, please rest. I’ll treat you to the food we made today.”
“P, Please wait!”
“Don’t worry. Just relax.”
──I thought, but they stopped me, so I calmly put my hips down on the sofa.
Well, if that’s what they said, there’s nothing I can do. I’ll wait quietly.
No~ even so, the sofa here is very comfortable. zzz
