‘Something isn’t right.’
Sera seriously pondered the hunch she’s been having for a while now. For some strange reason, she felt a sense of discomfort amidst the morning breeze.
In fact, nothing should have set off this strange hunch. It’s amazing how things went so swimmingly today.
Rosé and Ferre both listened extremely well in class today, more than usual, and their participation was fantastic. It was during music class, which lasted for the entire morning.
As though they had become possessed by opera singers, the twins sang with all their hearts, and they were so passionate about playing their respective musical instruments.
They loved playing the castanets, the tambourines and the triangles, and there was no time for the music to stop.
Of course, it should be factored in that during music class today, the children were introduced with instruments that they were seeing for the first time in their lives.
Still, even taking this under consideration, Rosé and Ferre were o.v.e.r.l.y enthusiastic today.
“Is everything really alright?”
Narrowing her eyes filled with suspicion, Sera asked the children as their behavior was still very strange.
“Uh-huh. I told you a while ago, everything’s fine.”
“Sera, you keep asking the same thing since this morning.”
The twins answered as they kept their heads down, trying to chase after the rolling peas on their plates with a fork.
“Hmm. Is that so?”
“O
Of course. Me and Ferre are both fine!”
“Yeah. Nothing’s going on!”
Perhaps it’s because her suspicion was finally directed straight at them. Even if it’s true that they were absorbed in chasing after those peas, they seemed to be consciously avoiding her gaze.
“It would be better if you scoop them up with a spoon.”
However Sera, who became a bit impatient seeing this, offered to help.
“Ah. Yeah. Thanks, Sera.”
Rosé and Ferre then used their spoons to scoop up all their respective peas.
Normally, they would have already started to protest against eating those peas, but the twins closed their eyes tightly and bravely brought their spoons to their mouths.
“Sera, we’re going now.”
“Me and RosĂ© finished eating. Can we go outside to play now?”
Accompanied by the scraping of their chairs against the floor, the brother and sister jumped out of their seats. They were still munching on the peas in their mouths.
“Already? You’re done eating? But you still have to eat your dessert before you go.”
Sera glanced alternately at the children’s empty plates. It’s strange enough to see them finishing their meals in an instant, but she couldn’t believe that they were even leaving without dessert now.
This was something that both RosĂ© and Ferre wouldn’t normally do.
“I’m full today. You too right, Ferre?”
“Yeah. I’m so full that I don’t have any space left in my tummy for dessert.”
The twins exaggeratedly puffed up their tummies, and when they patted them, the sound of plop, plop resounded.
“So Sera, can me and Ferre go out a bit?”
“Yeah. Me and RosĂ© will play outside, just a little while. Please let us, sera.”
The twins persistently tried to get Sera’s permission. And, unable to hide their nervousness and urgency, their little fingers constantly fiddled and pinched their nails.
“How strange. If you can just wait a little longer, I can go out together with you both
”
Sera narrowed her eyes. Indeed, they seemed to be hiding something.
“Strange?! It’s not strange. No way, Sera.”
“Sera’s still eating, and it’s not a big deal
 We’re just going to take a walk outside a little bit.”
“Really?”
Rosé and Ferre looked up at Sera and nodded vigorously.
They thought they were being really sneaky about their excuse, but it’s impossible for Sera not to realize.
“You’re not planning to do anything suspicious without my knowledge, are you?”
Sera asked straightforwardly.
“O
Of course.”
“W
What kind of suspicious things are we gonna do!”
“We won’t do anything suspicious without Sera’s knowledge!”
“We’d never do that. Me and Ferre aren’t planning something suspicious.”
“Yeah. Me and RosĂ© aren’t doing anything suspicious!”
How many times exactly did they mention the word ‘suspicious’ in this short conversation?
All the while, the twins were unable to make eye contact with her. They were just staring at the far window over there, one foot behind the other, tapping the floor.
With their very telling body language, Sera was convinced that the twins were definitely hiding something. And they didn’t seem to have any intention of telling her about it.
“Well, if you say so. I have no choice but to trust you. I’ll see Your Highnesses later then.”
RosĂ© and Ferre’s eyes glistened as they heard this. And, they tightly squeezed each other’s hands.
It’s obvious to see the trembling corners of their lips as they tried not to smile too hard.
“We’ll be back soon!”
The twins shot out of the room in the blink of an eye.
Left behind all alone in the dining hall, Sera ate her last piece of bread and immediately got out of her seat as well.
It’s time for her to go and find out what the twin prince and princess were up to.

Helios was on his way to meet his younger siblings for a moment, however he stopped in his tracks as he saw an unexpected scene.
Without noticing that Helios was there, both Rosé and Ferre were porororo running somewhere. And, Sera was right on their tail.
‘What are my younger siblings up to now? Don’t tell me
 They’re running away from class?’
This was the first thought that came to his mind, so he figured that he should quickly catch his younger siblings right away. But, then again, Sera’s unusual behavior soon stopped him from doing that.
Sera wasn’t doing anything to stop the twins from running away. Instead, she was hiding behind the corner of a large building so that she wouldn’t be seen.
Then, for sure

She was trying to hide from his younger siblings.
As the twins ran, Sera went through the motions of dadada running behind them as well, but quickly hiding so that the twins wouldn’t see her.
Rosé and Ferre looked back countless times to see whether there was someone following them, but Sera managed not to be caught by them.
“Hmm. I wonder why though?”
As Helios was watching, he burst out into an incredulous laughter because these three people were being so adorable.
Not long after, he decided to join Sera. It wouldn’t be bad to join in on this little hiding game.
