A powerful force pushed the black brick toward An Lin as a biting chill instantly enveloped his whole body.
An Lin looked at the blue crystal on the other side of the chamber, as well the chamber itself, which was covered in a layer of snow and frost, and a peculiar feeling welled up in his heart.
He tossed a spirit stone toward the blue crystal as an experiment, and the spirit stone only managed to fly through the air for five meters before being completely frozen solid to become an ice sculpture hanging in the air. There was still a distance of over a hundred meters from the spirit stone to the blue crystal.
He paused momentarily in thought before bringing out a high-rank magic tool longsword. He then frantically injected his vital energy into the longsword before launching it toward the space just above the blue crystal.

The longsword transformed into a streak of golden light which pierced through the frosty air and continued onward with overbearing force.

In the end, the longsword frozen into another floating ice sculpture forty-two meters from the blue crystal.
Da Bai’s mouth fell open in disbelief. “Big Brother An, what’s going on here? How can the air freeze a magic tool?”
An Lin tried to manipulate the high-rank magic tool, only to find that it had been sealed by an extremely powerful restrictive force, thereby completely thwarting his attempts to try and move the longsword.
“There seems to be a power within this space that’s capable of freezing all things and the power grows stronger the closer the objects get to the blue crystal.” An Lin also wore a solemn expression on his face. He had hurled the sword with all his might just then, and it still stopped short by a distance in excess of forty meters. If he had charged out recklessly without prior experimentation, he would’ve probably been frozen to death already.
However, An Lin didn’t feel any despair as this was not the first time he had witnessed power like this.
He had seen Liu Qianhuan wield a similar power during her battle with the mysterious bald man in the Shou Yang Tomb.
Hmm, perhaps he’d be able to gain some useful insight if he asked Liu Qianhuan for advice.
He brought out his voice transmission talisman and began to dial for Liu Qianhuan. Thankfully she had forced him to add her onto his voice transmission talisman for the League of Valor game, otherwise, he would be stuck without any external support.

“Hey, An Lin, what’s up? Are you ditching class?” A gentle murmur sounded from the end as if Liu Qianhuan was trying to speak as quietly as she could.
It was clear that Liu Qianhuan was in the middle of one of her classes.
An Lin didn’t get a chance to reply before Liu Qianhuan’s voice sounded again, “Wait
 What the f*ck! Why is my vital energy being depleted so quickly? Are you in f*cking outer space?!”

 I’m currently stuck in a set of ruins and I need some help. We don’t have much time so I’ll make this quick.”
An Lin knew that he didn’t have time to waste and continued, “I’m in a Trial of Extreme Frost which consists of a blue crystal within an extremely cold space. Any object which is hurled at the blue crystal would be frozen and sealed in the air. The sealing powers seem to grow stronger the closer the objects get to the blue crystal. If I want to pass the trial, I have to inject my vital energy into the crystal. I recall you have an ability that’s quite similar to the ability exhibited by the blue crystal; please give me some advice!”
“Oh, sounds like the sealing power of extreme frost. You’re having a bit of fun, aren’t you, An Lin?”
Liu Qianhuan’s interest was immediately piqued, but she knew they didn’t have time to waste, so she began to hurl quick instructions at An Lin. “From your description, it appears the blue crystal is the source of the power of extreme frost. It’s not really all that difficult to bypass your predicament; the three important factors here are power, temperature, and speed.
“In order for a domain like this to freeze and seal an object, it would require time. If an object with extremely high temperatures is hurled at the blue crystal, it would require more time to freeze the object. At the same, a powerful force could just break through and completely bypass the sealing powers of the blue crystal. Do you understand what I mean?”
An Lin nodded. “Yeah, roughly. Isn’t it just about using those three factors to my advantage? I’ve got one last question. What do I do if I accidentally get frozen?”
Liu Qianhuan pondered to herself for a short while before giving a reply, “Hmm, do you have a will you can pass on to me? And give me the account information for your WeChat and QQ accounts, I’ll be sure to make good use of them.”

Alright, it looked like he was screwed if he was frozen, so this really was a gamble with his life on the line.
Although he had a rough idea of what he had to do, how could he ensure that his methods would actually work?

An Lin took a deep breath as he looked at the blue crystal in the distance. It looked like he would have to take a gamble here.

“Da Bai, wait here for me, I’m going to give it a try,” An Lin turned and spoke to Da Bai.
Da Bai knew he couldn’t do anything anyway, so he took a step back and nodded. “Best of luck, Big Brother An!”
An Lin smiled lightly and streams of white wind began to revolve around his Evil-Slaying Sword, and white Wings of Winds began to materialize on his back as he activated his Wind Sword and Wind Spirit techniques.
“Demonic Star Flame, Great Holy Flame, Setting Moon Flame, Heavenly Void Flame, converge! Sea of Divine Flames!”
The four Divine Flames began to materialize around his body before condensing into a suit of purple flaming armor. Waves of scorching heat rolled off the armor and spread outward as if they were threatening to destroy this frosty space.
The scorching heat could only extend for ten meters before it was dispelled by the frosty air.
A black mist began to revolve around An Lin’s body at this moment.

An extremely powerful aura burst forth from his body in a display of devastating power.
He took a step forward, and his body blasted forth like a purple flaming meteor crashing down upon the blue crystal in the distance with unstoppable force!
His insane speed triggered an ear-splitting sonic boom and the intense heat radiating from his body melted the snow and ice as well warping the air around him.

The plummeting temperatures began to rob his flaming suit of armor of its luster, and the space around him began to congeal.
An Lin felt a powerful resistant force which mounted in intensity with each step he took.
Ten meters

The purple flaming suit of armor was beginning to crumble under the intense cold.
A terrifying frosty aura swept toward him and threatened to freeze his body along with his consciousness.
An Lin gritted his teeth and trudged forward with all his might. The black mist continued to revolve around his body as he trembled uncontrollably.
To stop now meant certain death; he had no choice but to continue forward!
Three meters

The suffocating frosty aura ahead of him made him feel like he was trudging through walls of iron and steel.
An Lin crashed into a figurative wall of frosty air which immediately dispelled all his momentum, and his body began to freeze over

An Lin raised his Evil-Slaying Sword high into the air as he looked at the blue crystal, which was almost within reach. His eyes turned pitch black as he activated his Endless Night sword techniques, and an overwhelmingly powerful aura burst forth from his body.
“Break through!!!”
He slashed down with his Evil-Slaying Sword as he let loose a fierce roar. A dark, all-engulfing crescent appeared in the air and instantly tore through the wall of frosty air before him before striking the blue crystal!
Boom!
An Lin’s body immediately felt lighter, and he closed the distance of 3 meters within the blink of an eye before grabbing onto the blue crystal.
Just as he was about to inject his vital energy within.
Crack

A clear, crisp crack reverberated around him.
The blue crystal suddenly shattered like a glass ball.
An Lin’s pupils contracted as he stood rooted to the spot in befuddlement.
Immediately afterward, a boundless aura of frost and ice instantly swept through the entire chamber and froze everything in its wake!
