Currently, I was standing in front of the land that we purchased. I was accompanied by the usual members along with the two older adventurers.
「The land that we bought is quite spacious, isn’t it?」
Cruz-kun murmured this when he saw the land that we had purchased.
It seems that the members who left the orphanage started talking about it, and the usual members had no clue about the matter regarding the clan, so we explained it to them as we went to go see the land.
And, my younger sister, Queen, and the others were running around there.
「There’s nothing here so it looks spacious, but it’s not as big as the orphanage, you know?」
「Is that so!?」
Actually, this plot of land was quite spacious, but so was the orphanage. Since the Lord had prepared it for the orphanage, and for Director-sensei.
「So, what are we going to do next?」
「U~n, we hurriedly bought the land because it might’ve been sold out, but we were not able to make any preparations~.」

「Nn~, first, perhaps we should clean up the land? After that, prepare some timber in the forest, transport it here, and then build a house, maybe?」

「That’s true, it’s not easy to build it. That’s why there are people who are wood cutters and carpenters.」

「We’ll ask Ojii-san to help us, but if we can take the time to do it, then it should be fine.」
「Then, we need to do our best from now on!」
Cruz-kun shouted this and everyone became motivated again.
「Well, we will have things to do from now on!」
At my words, everyone looked over.
And, Cruz-kun quickly asked me what I wanted to do.
「What are you going to do?」
「Firstly, we need to determine the land.」
「Determine? We already bought it, so it’s ours, isn’t it?」
「But land does belong to us, but we need to properly determine that the land from here to there belongs to us, or there would be confusion regarding the land that’s surrounding ours.」
In this world, there had yet to be precise measurements, and the land was roughly distributed, so we needed it to properly secure our own plot of land.
If this were downtown, there would already be buildings that had been built here, so you could tell that it was unoccupied land, but in this place where not even a single building had been built, it would be especially hard to define the demarcation of the land.
「For now, why don’t we enclose it with rope.」
Based on the marks that were made when we came to take a look with a person from the commerce guild, I used earth magic to create a set of stairs, hammered in the stakes, tightened the ropes, and made a simple enclosure.

「Onii-chan! Are we going to build our house here?」

My younger sister was looking at the land with stars in her eyes.
Though there wasn’t anything here yet, I was excited.

Everyone responded when Cruz-kun exclaimed this.
Starting the next day, we began preparing the timber used for the construction in addition to what we had been doing up until now.
Though I said that, we just did what we usually did, ask Ojii-san to cut down the trees, cut off the branches, dehydrate them, and process them into rectangular timber and wooden planks.
This time, the adventurer group also participated. After all, we were building our own house.
During the break, I made a miniature model of the house.
This was to confirm what kind of house we were building, and whether or not there was any problem with the structure of it.
There wasn’t anyone who specialized in this, so I wouldn’t say that it was perfect, but Ojii-san said that there didn’t seem to be any problem with it.
I was able to get a rough idea of the building to a certain extent and I’ll do my best in processing the timber!
