Ning Junyan rubbed his nose against the back of Chen Yuncheng’s neck, “Try to see if you really want to pee, so I can carry you there.”

Ning Junyan asked him, “Do you remember what you said last night?”
Chen Yuncheng said without thinking, “No, I don’t.”
Ning Junyan then said, “You said you wanted to be my wife.”
Chen Yuncheng instantly blushed as he broke away from Ning Junyan’s embrace and turned around to look at him, saying in a good-natured and amused manner, “When did I say that?”
Ning Junyan said, “You don’t remember what you said? How do you know you didn’t say it?”
Chen Yuncheng was speechless for a while, he actually probably remembered the conversation between the two last night, he just lost his ability to think and was not unconscious at that time, even if he really didn’t remember, he didn’t believe he would say such things out loud.
His bladder was about to explode, Chen Yuncheng didn’t want to continue to bicker with Ning Junyan, and he didn’t want to get out of bed in just a pair of underwear, so he sat up and looked for his clothes.
Last night Ning Junyan had taken off his clothes and thrown them on his side of the bedside table. Chen Yuncheng had to pull the quilt to cover his lower body, and went over Ning Junyan to reach for his clothes.
Ning Junyan lay down and watched him struggle. He had no intention of helping in the slightest and said nonchalantly, “Don’t worry, forcing sex on you without your consent is rape, I won’t do that, I don’t want you to be upset.”
Chen Yuncheng finally got his trousers, he turned around and covered Ning Junyan’s mouth, and said, “Stop talking about it!” Chen Yuncheng’s face was still red as he said that.
Ning Junyan looked at him calmly.
Chen Yuncheng let go of his hand slowly, sat on the edge of the bed and put on his trousers, before he even had time to pull the zipper, he ran outside in a hurry.
He went to the bathroom to urinate, and then sat on the toilet cover and covered his face with his hands for a long time in a daze. He still remembered that he took the initiative to go to Ning Junyan’s room. Although he knew he hadn’t said anything about being a wife to Ning Junyan, alcohol was still not a good thing. He had woken up with his worries still in place, and he had gotten himself into more trouble.
Chen Yuncheng took a shower and changed his clothes. When he came out of the bathroom, he saw Ning Junyan put on his coat and was changing shoes at the entrance. He walked over and asked, “Going to work so early?”
Ning Junyan said, “I’m going to buy you breakfast.” After he said that, he reached out and hooked his hand over the back of Chen Yuncheng’s neck and gave him a kiss on the forehead, before leaving the house.
Chen Yuncheng stood in place for a while, raising his hand to gently press his chest.
After breakfast, Chen Yuncheng followed Ning Junyan to the hospital.
The police had notified Gu Yaojia about Zhou Yan’s criminal detention, and Gu Yaojia seemed more silent than usual. She sat and chatted with Chen Yuncheng in the ward for a long time before finally saying to Chen Yuncheng, “I’ll take him back to the hometown once Qiqi is discharged.”
Chen Yuncheng was not surprised, he just asked, “Has the decision been made?”
Gu Yaojia nodded, “I can’t live here alone with him.”
Chen Yuncheng said, “I understand.” He asked Gu Yaojia again, “Do you hate Zhou Yan?”
Gu Yaojia lowered her head and gently picked her nails, “Sometimes, I can’t tell. But Cheng ge, I’m not going to wait for him to come out.”
Chen Yuncheng said, “I understand.”

When Chen Yuncheng came out of the hospital, he received a call that someone wanted to rent the space of his kiosk.

The kiosk was looked at by a middle-aged couple from out of town. They wanted to rent it out to open a small shop selling braised vegetables and deli food. The owner of the lottery shop had opened the door to let them see how it looked inside. It was common to buy one or two braised vegetable dishes to add to your meal when you have guests at home or are late from work.
Chen Yuncheng knew that they also felt that the rent here was relatively cheap, so they spent a lot of time negotiating the price with each other. Chen Yuncheng didn’t want to be too eager and finally said that everyone should go back and think about it, and there was no need to rush to finalise it.
The middle-aged couple expressed a little regret at not being able to persuade Chen Yuncheng at that time.
It was already past one o’clock in the afternoon, and Chen Yuncheng was thirsty and hungry, so he went to buy a bottle of water nearby and ordered a bowl of beef noodles from the noodle shop he used to frequent.
It was past meal time, and the owner of the noodle shop was free and sat next to Chen Yuncheng to chat with him.
The whole street knew about the smashing of Chen Yuncheng’s kiosk incident. The boss asked him what he planned to do after closing the kiosk. Chen Yuncheng said that he hadn’t figured it out yet.
The boss said, “Your friend who drives the Land Rover is a big boss, right? Are you planning to do business with him in the future?”
Chen Yuncheng had already finished drinking half of the bottle of water, tightened the cap, and said, “No, I’ll just wait and see.”
