Of the two trainers who followed, the woman was Qin Rong and the man was Chen Long. He sounded like the star of an action movie, and it matched the man’s physique quite well. It was just like the naming habit of the time when he was born.
The two trainers didn’t stay in the transit station very long. Qin Rong came to the transit station with Su Zimo and the others, while Chen Long entered with the previous batch. The interval between when each batch enters the station wasn’t long. Even Cheng Long had only stayed in the transit station for just over a week.
There was no way to record the passage of time in the vast transit station. Sooner or later their phones would die and the hands on their watches would begin to twitch. They could only tell the time by relying on the time lapse between the nightmare world and the real world by checking the current time with new trainers.
After brief introductions to each other, the five people began to discuss the clearance task. Because the bloody lettering on their left arms had disappeared, they could only stay at a loss in this weird residential area, not knowing what to do.
The two newly-arrived trainers were both members of Dawn Organization. They had the same kind of good, old-fashioned personalities often seen in Dawn. They felt more like Bai Man and Dr. Jin. They were agile and cheerful without the selfless, brotherly dedication that Cheng Yun showed.
Although they had opinions on the organization itself, both Su Zimo and Liu Xi had no opinion on the members of Dawn Organization who had become their teammates. At least
 if they were were real.
The three including Su Zimo had experienced the incident before with the snake disguised as a member of Dawn Organization, so although they agreed to travel together, they didn’t expose too much personal information in front of Qin Rong and Chen Long.
Su Zimo and the others looked at the young people running around and the old people who were dancing a square dance on the other side. They didn’t know who they should ask for useful information.
It was then that Su Zimo saw a group of eight or nine people dressed as gangsters approaching from a distance while blowing a whistle. They were dressed a bit like Lin Hao and Lin Ren. They even snatched a fairy tale book from some children at one point, then started laughing when the children cried.
It’s just that the elderly people and young people nearby also laughed cheerfully at those ‘bad deeds’ and didn’t stop them at all.
When the gangsters passed by Su Zimo with the fairy tale book they just grabbed, Su Zimo felt that the book was very familiar. The cover on the fairy tale book was one that left a deep impression on Su Zimo.

<<Starry Lake>>
Something popped into Su Zimo’s thoughts then quickly flew away. Su Zimo wasn’t able to catch it.
Before questioning the people in the community, Su Zimo and the others were going to check if there was anything special about the community itself. Looking around, they could see six, eighteen-story high-rise buildings surrounding a relatively short residential building with only eight stories.
The surrounding high-rise buildings were brightly lit. Although the low-rise residential building also had lights on, it was rather dim. Since it was evening, Su Zimo and the others almost ignored that building’s existence.
After they noticed the building, though, they couldn’t move their eyes away.
If there was anything strange there, that building would be there first choice.
The doors to the surrounding high-rises didn’t require a room card to enter and leave, so Su Zimo and the others took the elevator all the way to the top of the residential building, trying to look out.
Su Zimo and the others saw a city that wasn’t flourishing, but that had brightly lit roads and commercial streets. The area was too far away to be clear because of the dark sky, but the urban area near the residences looked very ordinary. They could see the traffic and even pedestrians passing by.
“Is it really just an ordinary community?” Su Zimo looked at the scenery outside. It was sort of reasonable, but unexpected.
After observing the scenery outside the community, Su Zimo and the others began trying to leave the community.
But when they found the gate to exit the community and walked out, just as they stepped outside, they returned to the community in the blink of an eye!
“It seems worthy of a nightmare world. We may not be able to leave here until we clear out task.” Mu Feng sighed. “But it’s not too bad.”
Although it was expected that they couldn’t leave the residential area, everyone still felt a little disappointed looking at the bustling streets next to them.
After returning to the community, Su Zimo found an old man who looked very kind and told him that they had just arrived in the community and heard some scary rumours, so they just wanted to find someone and find out if there was anything special about the community.
After hearing Su Zimo’s words, the old man who was doing Tai Chi slowly stopped, then spoke with a smile: “Go ask A-Li and the others. They’re the group of people wearing black leather jackets who just walked past with a fairy tale book. They know everything about the community. Asking them is best.”
The old man doing Tai Chi was like a conscientious NPC. He pointed out a ‘clear path’ for Su Zimo and the others.
After receiving guidance, Su Zimo and the others immediately found the gangsters they had seen before. The leading gangster had dyed red hair and was no longer holding the fairy tale book. Maybe it had been returned to the children from before.
“You look very unfamiliar. Did you just arrive at our community?” The red haired person was very enthusiastic when they saw Su Zimo. “My name is A-Li. You can come to me if you want to ask anything in the future.”
It turns out that this is A-Li.
Su Zimo secretly recorded the other person’s appearance in his heart. Feeling Mu Feng’s expectant gaze behind him, he could only shoulder the burden of communicating with this ‘native person.’ After considering his words, he asked–
“We just moved here and we heard something related to the community. We couldn’t help but feel a little worried. Mr. A-Li, do you know about anything that requires special attention in this community?”
“Attention, there’s nothing to pay attention to. Everyone is very good.” A-Li spoke without hesitation at fist, but then his expression became a little hesitant and he paused before saying, “You didn’t move to that building, did you?”
A-Li pointed to the dimly lit low-rise residential building behind him.
“No, of course not.” Su Zimo reacted quickly, then immediately asked, “What’s wrong? Is there something strange about that residential building?”
“I don’t know if it could be considered strange.” A-Li showed a thoughtful look. “That building has the fewest residents. It’s not just because there’s less stories. There’s just not many people living in the building; there are less than ten households.”
“Maybe the people here prefer the high-rises?” Su Zimo promptly used relevant topics to lead him.
“That’s not the strange part.” A-Li hesitated again, then spoke as if he made up his mind. “The people who live in that building don’t leave at all. I’ve never seen them come out of that building.”
Hearing what A-Li said, Su Zimo and the others seemed to feel the air around him getting colder. When they subconsciously raised their heads to look at the residential building, they happened to see a person standing at one of the dimly lit windows!
The ‘person’ shut the window as soon as Su Zimo and the others shifted their eyes; they even turned off the lights.
“Did you see it?” Qin Rong’s voice was nervous. “That wasn’t an hallucination just now, right?”
“No, we all saw it.” Chen Long swallowed.
“Could all those who live in that residential building
” Qin Rong lowered her voice, not daring to let A-Li and the others hear her clearly. “Are there actually ten households there? If there’s more than one household, won’t we have to deal with dozens of them at the same time
Oh my god, now I know why other trainers can’t clear this task! This
Who could deal with dozens of them at the same time?!”
“I think there must be a reason for so many natives being here.” Chen Long continued analyzing next to them. “Is there a hidden mission to protect the natives? Don’t let the natives be harmed or anything.”
“Anything is possible.” Su Zimo felt each had its own merit. “No matter what, we have to go take a look at that residential building.”
“Anyway, don’t get too close to that building.” A-Li and them didn’t seem to notice the whispering between Su Zimo and the others. He just emphatically urged them and left cheerfully with his brothers behind him.
“If this were a game, it would be a shining mission.” Mu Feng knew that their current situation was dangerous, so he made a joke in hopes that everyone would relax.

Because they didn’t find any strange places in the community, Su Zimo and the others had nothing to prepare. They simply adjusted their mindsets, took their most powerful ghost tools with them, and then secretly infiltrated Residential Building No. 4 that A-Li mentioned.
The figure that flashed by in the residential building was on the fourth floor. After thinking about it, Su Zimo rejected the elevator that may cause an unexpected accident, then climbed the dim safety stairs to the fourth floor.
Just as Su Zimo and the others were about to nervously exit the security door on the fourth floor, Su Zimo walked to the front and suddenly stopped pushing the handle on the security door.
The ‘ding’ of the elevator opening made everyone hold their breath.
A-Li said before that no ‘people’ ever left this building, but now the elevator opened because ‘people’ in the building had left – or maybe people from the outside entered?
Su Zimo immediately adjusted his strategy. He silently opened the security door a small crack under the dim light, then the trainers crouched on their feet and quietly stood by the door crack to look through.
Although the lights in the hall were dim, bright light shone inside the moment the elevator opened. Yes, Su Zimo could clearly see the ones exiting the elevator
It turned out to be A-Li and his friends!
What’s going on?
They had obviously warned Su Zimo and the others before to not enter this residential building. Why did A-Li and the others enter instead?
Su Zimo watched carefully and saw that A-Li and the others were carrying baskets in their hands. After they walked out of the elevator, they placed a basket in front of the door of the nearest household.
Although the light in the hall soon dimmed, Su Zimo knew that they should be putting such a basket at the door to each household, but he didn’t know what was in the basket.
But now was definitely not a good time to rush out. Su Zimo and the others could only wait for A-Li and his friends to return to the elevator. They had two or three fewer baskets in their hands than when they first arrived, and when they took the elevator again, they went to the fifth floor above them.
After confirming the elevator had left, Su Zimo discussed with the remaining trainers, and then Liu Xu, the most vigorous, rushed through the security door to see what was in the baskets at their doors.
Liu Xu rushed past them light a cheetah in the dark, then rushed back as fast as he could.
“What is it?” The other trainers asked curiously.
“It’s food.” Liu Xu’s answer surprised Su Zimo.
If everyone living in this residential building was a ghost, then why would A-Li and the others bring up food?
Liu Xu’s face was puzzled. He obviously thought the same as Su Zimo. He paused before continuing: “Most of it was canned food and packets of dry biscuits.”
“That’s similar to the supplies we brought into the nightmare world.” Mu Feng joked again. “We brought them in because there’s no food in the nightmare world There are commercial streets outside here, so why do they eat so badly?”
“The point here should be why A-Li and the others are delivering food here, right?” Su Zimo pulled them back to the topic at hand.
“Right. If the people living here are ghosts, why would they bring food? Is it a tribute?” Liu Xu expressed his thoughts.
While Su Zimo and the others were discussing, the door closest to them suddenly opened inward. A hand quickly reached out from the door, grabbed the basket, and retracted it!
Su Zimo and the others happened to see the elevator moving down from the top floor and all the way to the first floor before stopping. They were sure that A-Li and the others had already left. After they left the residential building, Su Zimo and the others simply pushed open the security door and knocked on the door that had just been opened.
Maybe there was a ghost behind the door, but it was a ghost that needed canned food

Apart from doing this, Su Zimo and the others really didn’t know how to progress their tasks further.
“Knock! Knock! Knock!”
Su Zimo knocked on the door a few times. The entire hall was silent except for that sound, which made it feel that like the knocking sound he made was even more terrifying.
The trainers began to knock on other doors, but they still received no response.
If they had knocked on a door and got a reaction, they may have been afraid. But after knocking on so many doors, there was still no response. The trainers became more courageous and even continued knocking on the doors in disbelief, knocking on all of them from the fourth floor to the sixth floor.
There was no movement from any of the doors along the way

Until Su Zimo and the others arrived at the sixth floor. After Liu Xu knocked on a door forcefully, a old but still vigorous coughing voice came from inside the door–
“Go! Hai hai! Get out of here!”
Everyone was overjoyed at getting a response for the first time. How could the trainers let go of such a rare clue?
