「Wow! Those delicious smells are tomatoes!」
「Geeh! I don’t like tomatoes.」
「It’s a shame you don’t like them, they taste so good.」
Next, a young woman and two men of about the same age came down noisily.
The three of them are adventurers and are in a party.
The one with brown hair in a ponytail and a face that looked more pretty than beautiful was Helmina, the wizard. (Herumina= Helmina)
The blonde-haired man who moans that he doesn’t like tomatoes is Ralph, the swordsman. (Rarufu= Ralph)
The archer Seek has long black hair that hangs down to his eyes and a quiet demeanor. (Shikuda= Seek)
All three are from the same village, so they get along very well.
「Tori-kun, what’s for breakfast today?」
After a brief conversation about tomatoes, Helmina asked with a friendly expression.
「Today’s main dish is cabbage rolls with tomatoes. Bread to go with it.」
「Good! I’ll have that!」
「That’s it for me too!」

「Okay.」
All but Ralph, who doesn’t like tomatoes, seem to have decided on the main dish of the day.
As I took my order and moved to the kitchen door, I heard the sound of people coming down the stairs again.
Everyone is coming down faster than usual.
It seemed that the aroma of the rich tomatoes had lured the guests to the kitchen, and they were waking up in droves.

The aroma of the food is wafting out through the kitchen vents, and even the morning workers of the city are coming into our dining room.
I wondered if some of them were trying to find a place to stay for the day. There were several travelers and adventurers crowding the reception desk.
「I’m going to the reception, so my Onii-chan and Okaa-san should look forward to the cafeteria!」

Perhaps it was because I had delivered the food first, but Helmina and Seek had already started eating without waiting for Ralph.

「Tori, you’re late.」
Ralph, on the other hand, was lying on the table like a stretched rice cake, probably because of hunger.
When I left the menu for Ralph to choose from, he looked at the food with a pouting expression on his face, as if he was dissatisfied with the lack of meat.

When I told him that there was sausage in the soup, Ralph became instantly cheerful.

Hamburger and mayonnaise is a prehistoric dish and condiment that I sometimes make.

He said he was hooked on hamburger and mayonnaise ever since he ate it.

Ralph puts his hands on top of his head and asks me to do it, but it’s not at all cute when a man does it.
Well, I can make it for you, but not in the morning. I have to get up early in the morning to make it, which naturally means I have to cut down on my sleep.
That’s NG for me, so it’s either lunch or dinner. It’s tough because I have a very noble mission to take a nap today.

「Really? You promised!」
「Yes.」
But I didn’t specify a specific date or time. It was a vague ‘next time’. It could be not today, but tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or even a month from now.
You can make it at any time you like.
Helmina and Seek seemed to be aware of my thoughts, but Ralph seemed to be satisfied with the fact that I promised to make it for him.
I thought it was somewhat cute, but I quickly left so that I wouldn’t get caught up in anything else.
Many customers crowded into the cafeteria to eat their food and go to work in the morning.

(Sakeda= sake, a type of japanese alcohol made from rice/ refers to alcohol, in general)
And one of the customers demanded that I bring him some alcohol, even though it was early in the morning.
He had a stocky, barrel-like body with short arms and legs. His face was covered with a beard and he had the look of an old man.
In addition to humans, there are many other races living in this world, such as elves and beastmen.
They may look different from humans in some ways, but they all have the same thing in common: a Good Heart. I was a little scared at first, but I’m used to it now.
「Bring my sake quickly!」
The Dwarven guest shakes his short limbs and shouts loudly, demanding liquor.
The elf sitting next to him frowned.
「I’m appalled. Drinking in the morning?」
(apalled= greatly dismayed or horrified)
「Sake for dwarves is the same as water for eagles! I’m gonna die if I don’t drink it!」
In games and fictional stories, elves and dwarves are often said to be at odds with each other, but not so here.
「I don’t think so.」
「Drinking is the vitality of life! Without it, we’d dry up! It’s the same as your insatiable appetite for vegetables.」
「Vegetables are necessary for life, but alcohol is a luxury, not a necessity.」
「Why are you selling fights to dwarves!?」

 There shouldn’t be, but there are differences in views and values in everything. There are some parts where dwarves and elves don’t fit, but there are many people who have a good relationship.
It just so happens that the dwarves and elves here are not on the same page.
However, if we leave it like this, they’ll probably end up fighting.
「Yes, yes, I’ll give you some ale, just calm down!」
「Oh! Sake!」
For the time being, I left only the sake, and the dwarf immediately smiled and began to stir the ale.
If the dwarf doesn’t make too much noise, the elf next to him won’t complain.
It’s easy for customers to handle you when you know exactly what they’re like.
After that, I delivered the food to the customers and made the bill.
After repeating this cycle for about an hour, the restaurant finally began to calm down somewhat.
Once this busy breakfast time was over, all that was left was to relax and work.
I can sit down once in a while, look outside, talk with Letty, etc. As long as I do my job to a certain extent, I won’t get angry like I did in my previous life. It’s a really nice environment.
Letty and I collected the remaining plates and cleaned up around the table.
The only ones left are a few guests who woke up at different times, a few travelers who came in to take a break, and the adventurers, Helmina and her friends.
