Chapter 124 The Tales of A Lucky Child and Two Unlucky Children
TL: Kyous
Seeing the duo was leaving, Leo hurriedly stood up and called out to them from behind.
âF*ck! Boss, this man suddenly came to life!â Happy turned around and stretched out his arms in panic, blocking Tony.
âHappy, once again, please donât curse in front of your boss.â While speaking, Tony repeated the same trick, extending the taser underneath Happyâs armpit.
Pew! Pew!
The taser probes darted at high speed, but Leo absolutely wouldnât fall for the same trick twice. Circulating his Mechanical Force, he reached out his right hand and remotely controlled the incoming probes to curve the right side, making an arc.
When the probes flew over, Leo grabbed the taserâs insulated metal wires and yanked!
He exerted a great force and Tony couldnât hold onto the taser. The taser immediately slipped out of Tonyâs hand and fell into his hand.
Furthermore, since Tony was clutching the taser tightly, the powerful yanking instantly caused him to lose his balance. Along with the unlucky Happy, both of them fell onto the ground like a sack of potatoes. However, Tony was fine as he had Happy cushioning for him, so the fall wasnât heavy at all. Propping his hands on the ground, Tony was going to stand up.
Leo wasnât going to entertain the duo anymore. Shooting webs from both of his hands, Tony and Happy, who didnât have the time to stand up, were plastered together. With a forceful tug, the duo was instantly lifted up and slammed onto the wall. Shooting another couple of shots of webs, the duo was smeared onto the wall.
But their mouths werenât sealed, so they could still talk. When Tony was slammed onto the wall, he was fine because Leo didnât use too much strength. However, when the 200-pound heavy Happy pressed on his stomach, he almost vomited his dinner out. Momentarily, he hung a painful expression on his face, unable to utter anything.
With Tony as the cushion this time, Happy was fine. Except for his lips being injured during the fall, speaking was a-okay for him. âWho are you? What do you want? Iâm warning you, donât mess around with us.â
Happy was slightly panicking. At the moment, both of them were immobilized akin to being stripped naked. Not a sense of security.
âHmph!â Leo snorted and fiddled with the taser in his hand, âYou still warning me to not mess around?! I just want to have a talk, yet you shocked me with this thing?â
Leo was depressed! Just now when he saw Tony and Happy closing in on him, he just wanted to greet them while scaring them off. He had no intention of using violence! Unbeknownst to him, the moment they met, Tony instantly ambushed him with a taser, knocking him outâŠ
âHello, mister. Iâm very sorry. Itâs a misunderstanding, we have no malicious intentions either.â Tony finally snapped out of it. âSince we are not enemies and the misunderstanding has cleared up, can you let us down? Hanging like this⊠Cough! Cough! Itâs nauseating⊠Iâm going to puke⊠Blargh!â
âBoss, are you okay? Hang in there, donât puke on me!â Realizing Leo wasnât preparing to kill them, Happy once again placed his attention on weird spots.
âI f*cking want to puke because youâre pressing my stomach! Happy, after we returned, you really need to lose weight. Youâre too fat⊠Blarghh!â Tony retched again.
Happyâs eyelids twitched. To prevent Tonyâs retching from becoming vomiting, he attempted to shift Tonyâs attention, âBoss, didnât you notice, just now you also cursedâŠâ
âS*it! Shut the hell up, dumb*ss!â Watching the duo derailing again, Leo viciously threatened, âDo you think I was electrocuted for nothing? Have I ever said Iâm letting you go?â
âNo, mister. Arenât you fine right now? That taser of mine is just a toy! Itâs totally harmless!â Tony began spouting nonsense and started shifting his responsibilities. âBesides, youâre wearing this in the middle of the night. Whoever sees you surely wonât treat you as a good person⊠By the way, are you wearing armor? Is it heavy? Whatâs its power source and weapon? Why can it shoot spider webs?â
Leo, ââŠâ âWhich means everything thatâs happening right now is irrelevant to you, Tony Stark?!â He was utterly speechless and didnât wish to have any exchanges with these two weirdos anymore!
Luckily, a car entered the alley from another side. The one driving the car was Olâ Tom. Flashing the carâs headlights, he signaled Leo.
Seeing someone come, Tony and Happy were agitated and wanted to yell for help. Despite Leo saying he had no bad intentions, how would Tony and Happy believe his words under these circumstances?
The nonsense they rambled just now was them attempting to stall for time.
âHelâŠâ
âHelâŠâ
But before they could even voice out a single complete word, their mouths were webbed by Leoâs spider webs.
âSir, whatâs the matter with these two?â Olâ Tom drove the car to them. The instant he got out of the car, he noticed the plastered boss and bodyguard.
âThese two are someone I just so happened to meet, They ambushed me and I hung them up. No big deal.â Leo casually explained.
âThen, shall we kill them?â Olâ Tom believed they were enemies and enthusiastically suggested.
The two stuck on the wall frantically squirmed their body while letting out whimpering noises from their sealed heads.
Happy, âMmph! Mmph!â (Both of you are into this together?! Spare me! Everything is a misunderstanding! Donât kill us!)
Tony, âMmph! Mmph!â (Happy, you fat*ss! Stop moving! Iâm f*cking squeezed to death by you fat pig! Ergh, so stuffy! Iâm suffocatingâŠ)
Remaining silent, Leo approached the duo. Although they couldnât see anything, they still sensed someone was closing in. Happy struggled even more furiously while Tony whimpered even louder.
Leo released some web dissolvent onto his left pal and smudged it onto his right index finger before poking a hole into Tony and Happyâs nostrils.
âLetâs go.â
Confirming they wouldnât die of suffocation, Leo turned around and dug into the carâs back seats while Olâ Tom drove the car away.
Happy, âMmph! Mmph!â
Tony, âMmph! Mmph!â
âŠâŠ
The car sped through the street late at night. The street was void of things while sporadically cars whooshing by.
Sitting on the backseats, Leo surged his Mechanical Force and removed Viper Mark II. The scrambled parts automatically levitated and stashed into the trunk.
He picked up the Vibranium shield and pickaxe and had a look. They were still covered in rust. But now wasnât the time to remove the rust, it had to wait until he returned to the hotel. Instead, he was more fascinated by the taser Tony used just now.
It wasnât something that was readily available on the market. It was something Tony built himself. One of a kind!
On top of that, this taser was capable of reloading. Itâs indubitably high-tech!
The tasers in his past life were equipped with high-pressure nitrogen and only able to fire once. While the taser Tony built might look small, what was packed within it? How was it capable of firing multiple times at high speed?
Leo played with the taserâs handle and examined it. Besides the trigger, there was a green button on its right side. Generally, green should mean safe. He boldly pressed it.
âWhoosh!â
The wires the taser shot out were swiftly retracted back into the barrel and it was loaded as if never been used before.
âThis⊠This seems interesting!â Leo was rather surprised. Circulating his Mechanical Force, he activated âMechanical Force â Insightâ and targeted the taser in his hand with âMechanical Force Analysis.â
Analyzing a tiny taser allowed Leo to obtain all sorts of blueprints and knowledge. However, most of the knowledge and blueprints were something he learned long ago. They didnât carry much weight.
Among them, the âHigh-voltage Micro Batteryâ and âMiniaturized Anti-gravity Repulsorâ had attracted his interest.
ăHigh-voltage Micro Battery: A type of high-capacity micro battery developed by Howard Stark with the help of Tesseractâs technology.ă
Under the systemâs introduction was the âHigh-voltage Micro Batteryââs detailed blueprint. Leo swiftly took a look.
âŠ.jpg
When he saw the name, he already had a rough idea. As expected this blueprint was virtually the same thing as the âMiniature Highly-compressed Batteryâ he received from analyzing Buckyâs mechanical arm.
âLooks like this should be the most basic and easily derivable technology from the Tesseract. Both Dr. Zola and Howard mastered it.â
Casting the useless âHigh-voltage Micro Batteryâ aside, Leo began examining the âMiniaturized Anti-gravity Repulsorââs blueprint. If not mistaken, this should be the key to âHigh-voltage Taserââs repeating firing.
ăMiniaturized Anti-gravity Repulsor: The earliest anti-gravity technology created by Howard Stark, the one used for his hover car, has been increasingly matured over the years. Later on, it was successfully miniaturized by Tony Stark.
Note: As long as the energy is sufficient, this repulsor is capable of firing energy blasts.ă
