Chapter 50 Found It
Inside the van, Ol’ Tom was pressured by Leo and cried out, “How can there be such a good thing? This is Hell’s Kitchen, anything that’s valuable has been grasped by someone else already. If you want something, you can only steal…”
All of a sudden, Ol’ Tom seemed to realize something and hurriedly asked, “Y-you mean… you’re asking which large territory in Hell’s Kitchen is controlled by the mobs and you want to steal it?!”
Ol’ Tom finally understood what Leo meant but Leo shook his head and said, “Don’t make it sound that barbaric. I’m not stealing, I just want to borrow or rent from them. In fact, the size Pure Love Bar and Nightmare Bar from last night were alright but they were only two-story, so I’m not satisfied with them. Tell me, are there any places that fit my requirements?”
Leo started contemplating the matters with the company after he woke up today. He had decided he could not sell the chip out, such a “killing the goose that laid golden eggs” act was impossible to commit.
Based on the memory from his previous life, he was clear that as the Internet and global economy expanded, the further behind he was, the harder it was for him to make money.
Thus, Leo could not give out the core technology that could make him rich. As long as he grasped the opportunity, it would play a major role in his future growth.
Leo even began to have thoughts about the various weapon designs on the hard disk as the military industry had a bright prospect. Leo felt he might not be able to share the cake with Stark Industries.

“Ol’ Tom, thinking carefully, does Hell’s Kitchen have such a place?” Leo saw Ol’ Tom did not reply and urged him.
“I really can’t think of anything right now. Give me some time to think…” Ol Tom was in a dilemma. All of a sudden, he saw the destination and immediately said, “Mr. Erwin, stop. This is the place. I’ll head in to make the identification for you two.”
Leo did not make things difficult for Ol’ Tom. He stopped the car but Ol’ Tom had not left yet.
“What’s the problem? Why are you staying in the car? Go and make the identification.”
Ol’ Tom stammered with an ugly smile, “I-I don’t have any money… The money is in the Black Bear Gang’s office…” What Ol’ Tom meant was that his money in Black Bear Gang was now in Leo’s hand.
“How much?”
“Twenty thousand…”
“Speak the truth!”
“Two thousand…”
“You’re the same as Black Bear Gang!”
Leo took out an exact two thousand dollars. What Leo needed the most right now was money, so he wanted to save as much as possible.
He gave the money to Ol’ Tom and added, “Remember what I asked you just now. Think about it and ask around where Hell’s Kitchen has the place I want.”
Ol’ Tom accepted the money and hastily left the car. He walked as he thought, “Hell’s Kitchen is going to change completely.”

Leo waited in the car for a full three hours before Ol’ Tom returned. Just as Ol’ Tom opened the door, he happily said, “Everything went well. You can get it four days or so.” After saying that, Ol’ Tom looked at Leo with a fawning expression.
“What? Do you still want commissions? The entire Black Bear Gang is gone, while you’re still breathing. Is your life enough to be your commission?!”
Ol’ Tom shrunk back in his seat with a hopeless look. According to his life principle, his life is number 1 and money is number 1.1. If he could not make money was equivalent to almost losing a life.
“If you want money, it’s simple. Just help me search for the building I want. Then, I’ll reward you with two thou-… hundred dollars.”
Ol’ Tom resentfully glanced at Leo before helplessly nodding showing he would do his best.
Soon, five days passed.
For these past five days, besides going out to buy newspapers and eating, Leo stayed in the Harvest Hotel. He had been non-stop extracting and simplifying technology and blueprints related to computing chips and the Internet from the “Multi-functional Self-aware Robot”.
Bucky these past few days had always left early and returned late being busy with his things. Leo tried asking Bucky but he answered he was busy with his grand project and asked Leo to not worry.
The day after Ol’ Tom finished the paperwork for their identification, Leo instructed him to handle the box of jewelry from Minnesota.
Leo was not reassured with Ol’ Tom’s character, so he let Bucky go with Ol’ Tom.
Ol’ Tom had a wide connection, as he had successfully cleared the box of jewelry the following night. One of the jewels was extremely precious and in the end, the entire box of jewelry had gathered two hundred and seven thousand dollars.
Bucky naturally contributed much during the process, especially in raising the price with violence and settling some unavoidable problems.
Leo had gotten rich overnight as he now had at least three hundred thousand dollars. But compared to the cost of opening a tech company, Leo was as poor as a church mouse.
After several days of hard work, all of the core technology had been almost prepared. Leo right now was staring at the thick formulas and blueprints on his table as he pondered how to make money.
Dok, dok, dok…
All of a sudden, the door was knocked, followed by Ol’ Tom’s voice.
“Mr. Erwin, it’s me, Ol’ Tom. Are you in?”
Leo organized the piles of blueprints and kept them inside a box before sitting on the chair.
“You can enter, the door is not locked.”
Ol’ Tom entered with a plastic bag in his hand. He placed the bag in front of Leo and said, “Mr. Erwin, this is the identification I made for you and Boss Bucky five days ago. Fortunately, everything went smoothly. See if you’re satisfied with it or not.”
There were two social security cards and two driver’s licenses in the bag. Leo took a look at them and kept them after finding there were no problems.
Leo and Bucky finally had an official identity with these identifications and could live like ordinary American citizens.
“Have you found anything about the costless building I asked you about a few days ago?”
Leo asked hopelessly, as he did every time he saw old Tom in the past few days. Ol’ Tom this time gave a yes and said with excitement, “I found a place that fits your requirements. I guarantee you’re happy with that place.”
