<hr class="wp-block-separator">\n“Haah. That sure is quite a lot.”\n
“U-Ugh… This… even for me is……!”\n
“Yosh, Pappie. Do your best and carry it all!”\n
“A-At… the very least… make it half……!”\n
All the wood that was cut off was collected and fastened to his ankle. It might’ve been fine for me to carry them, but if there’s someone who can fly, it’d definitely be better to leave it to them.\nThe wood that Milo chopped down was quite usable for building the house. Although it’ll take a while for all of them to be processed, with this amount, it should even be possible to create a place for these two to spend time in their evenings. But it’s not like I have any sense for architecture, so, eh.\nAs the winds blew past me, the sound of humming naturally came out.\n
“But ya know, M’ster. Why’d we suddenly have to get more wood?”\n
“You guys need a place to live too, right? At the very least, I’ll be providing something that can shelter you from the wind and rain.”\n
“M-M’ster……!”\n
“As expected! As expected of Master! You’re so kind!”\n</ins>\n\n“No, it’s not a big deal.”\n
“I-If… you’re so kind, then… at least… this treatment…….!”\n
“Did you say something, Pappie?”\n
” ………… It’s… It’s… nothing!”\n
Looks like Pappie’s education is going quite well. That’s good.\nAnd thus, as we rode atop his back with him flying somewhat at a low altitude, I directed my gaze towards the Hidden Elf Village we came from.\nA peaceful village, just as always. And because of its distinct characteristic as a hidden village, there was no smoke that ever rose from it due to cooking or the like. You know, since they’d be found out really easily.\nVery slowly and steadily, Pappie descended as his body trembled.\n</ins>\n\n“But you know, if you lot start living together, the place will become quite cramped.”\n
“That’s something that can’t be helped. Compared to me, the size of my Lord and the big one varies greatly.”\n
“Chappie’s quite big too.”\n
“Pappie-dono is large too. Putting Bow-dono and me aside, if even Pappie-dono is to live with us, then the house would have to be considerably large too.”\n
“Hm. I’ve already requested Lute-san to factor all of that in.”\n
If all goes according to Lute-san’s blueprints, then it should turn into a flawless and freakishly large house.\nIt might even turn into the only palace standing out in this hidden village. Well, since I’m something akin to a savior to the villagers, I guess it’s all good.\nIt’ll also be fine for the children to come play any time they wish.\n
As we chatted amongst ourselves like so, we finally reached the village.\nHowever, as Pappie slowly made his descent…\nWe were gradually able to hear voices.\n
“Please rest assured! All you Elves! We have no intention of hurting you!”\n
“Wait, Pappie.”\n
“T-That’s so unreasonable……!”\n</ins>\n\nThere, at the entrance to the village.\nStood a group of three humans. It still wasn’t quite clear because of our distance, but at the very least, their voices could be heard distinctly.\nAnd since they addressed them as ‘All you Elves’, it would mean that they themselves weren’t.\nGetting a bad premonition, I stopped Pappie mid-flight. Us still being behind them, they hadn’t taken notice of us yet.\n
