Jiang Qi’s expression remained serious, “Are you 100% sure that you won’t tell him?”

Yu Gangan reassured her, “I really won’t. Let’s go back to soak in the hot spring.”

Jiang Qi confirmed for the third time, “Sister-in-law, you really won’t tell my brother that I told you this, right?”

“No.”

“Definitely?”

“I already told you I won’t, so I won’t.”

After multiple times of repeated doubt, Jiang Qi was still restless and afraid that Yu Gangan would sell her out.

All of a sudden, Yu Gangan said, “I’ve decided. I think I will tell him.”

Jiang Qi’s face immediately turned pale as she cried in horror, “Sister-in-law…”

Yu Gangan laughed out loud. Holding onto Jiang Qi’s hand, she said, “I’ll tell him, but I can guarantee he won’t be angry at you.”

Jiang Qi hesitated for a moment before her eyes lit up and she smiled, “In that case, tell him and make him not angry at me.”

“Huh?” Yu Gangan questioned.

“Now that I think about it, it’s better to tell him. Otherwise, I will keep feeling guilty like a criminal. As long as my brother doesn’t ignore me, then it’s all fine.”

The two women left the cafe to return to the courtyard, but just as they reached the entrance, Jiang Qi remembered she had ‘serious business’ to deal with.

It was all Gu Shuling’s fault for making her forget.

At that moment, a stranger’s voice echoed from the living room. As soon as Yu Gangan and Jiang Qi walked in, they saw Gu Shuling and a stranger sitting inside talking to Fang Zhihan and Lu Xuechen.

As he stood up to leave, he spotted Yu Gangan and Jiang Qi standing at the door.

His gaze fell on Yu Gangan in surprise and he froze a little as shock spread through his eyes.

Gu Shuling looked at Gu Chen and introduced with a faint smile, “Father, this is Miss Yu Gangan. She’s the one I mentioned to you before, Brother Han’s girlfriend…”

Fang Zhihan had no intention of introducing Yu Gangan to the man. Instead, he walked over and blocked Gu Chen’s line of sight. He then bid him farewell politely, “Uncle Gu, watch your step.”

Gu Chen retracted his gaze and left without taking a single glance at Fang Zhihan.

But, Gu Shuling was left behind.

Gu Shuling smiled at everyone, “Sorry to trouble you.”

She then introduced herself to Yu Gangan. “We meet again. How are you? My name is Gu Shuling,” she smiled in a warm and friendly manner as she grabbed Yu Gangan’s hand affectionately. “It’s nice to meet you.”

Yu Gangan withdrew her hand uncomfortably and smiled, “Hi, my name is Yu Gangan.”
