If one wanted to get out of the prison, they would either have to kill a hundred people or be a main character of the story.
Yan Leyang found an empty store. He was unsure what kind of store it was before he walked in and shut the door tightly. Then, he started to analyze the situation.
Killing a hundred people would be a bit challenging as Yan Leyang hadnât killed anyone before. So this was quite daunting for him. That, and the fact that it was a hundredâŚ.after killing them all and leaving, would he still be able to continue to live as a normal person?
Donât make it so that Iâm gonna have mental problems when the time comes.
As for the route of becoming the male leadâthat is also dangerous.
After a while, the male lead would also appear in the prison that he was currently at. Yan Leyang had read the novel in great detail; after the main character arrived, he would meet the cannon fodder âYan Leyangâ who was eaten. This plotline only had three parts, the cannon fodder dies fast.
The male leadâs personality is a bit..hmm, how to describe, lacking any desire or that he doesnât have anything he wants?
Thatâs not right either.
Yan Leyang peeled off a chunk of lamb leg, and contemplated over the issue as he ate.
The male leadâs identity was the son of the former head of the wolf galaxy, but this identity was only revealed later on. In the early days, the man was a poor little boy who was struggling to survive on the garbage star.
No, it wasnât accurate to say that he was a poor guy. The male lead was a genius. His body has been transformed by himself and was semi-mechanized. That and the manâs personality wasnât bad either.
He only had one desire, and that was to continue to live; to live an even better life.
But the main point was that the original host hadâin the plotlineâoffended the male lead. Hence the male lead and the royal family of the cat clan had sent the original host here together.
Of course, everyone had different standpoints. It was an indisputable fact that everyone wanted to assassinate the crown prince.
It was just that (if he were to go on) this protagonistâs route, in a month or so, the protagonist would probably be backhanded by the cat clan and wind up being sent to this gathering place. He should not be too far away from Yan Leyang. After all, Yan Leyang had met that fellow cannon fodder. 1
But the main issue was that there were still problems with his identity.
The protagonist himself was reformed. He would leave the prison, plant viruses into the mechanical guards, and finally hijack the ship used to carry criminals.
After all, the protagonist couldnât be considered a pure beastman anymore; at the moment, it was probably only his brain that remained from his original body.
After thinking over the matter, the protagonist isnât exactly a normal person. I donât want to interact with him.
âHey, is it you?â A head popped up outside the window. Itâs a guyâŚ.oh right, this gathering place only has men.
The manâs hair was dark black and he had green scales on his face. He looked quite terrifying.
Yan Leyang was surprised: âWho are you?â
âWere you the one who bumped into me earlier?â The man asked again, breaking the window and entering without waiting for Yan Leyang to answer.
Yan Leyang immediately raised his guard.
Noticing Yan Leyangâs golden hair, the man narrowed his eyebrows as he sized Yan Leyang up: âYou are quite good-looking.â But how did this tiny body hit me and send me flying?
By the time the man had gotten to the food distribution center, he had caught up with a group of guys outside who were chatting. To be honest, he had never seen such a peaceful group of criminals.
When he asked for more details, it turned out that it was a little pretty boy 2 with blonde hair who had beaten the black bear with a single blow that had the black bear spitting white foam as he crawled all over the ground; unable to stand up.
It was said that the blonde little pretty boy looked to be about 1.85 meters tall. Maybe he had some muscles? But he had his clothes on, so they were unable to tell; unlike those types such as the black bear who would be unable to cover it up regardless of how they were dressed.
Moreover, it was said that this little goldie was a cat.
After listening to the man in front of him, Yan Leyang understood, reached out and stroked his own face.
Yan Leyang was very good-looking. Of course, he himself knew that. He had been picked up on the streets several times, thus, ââDid you want to be my backer?.â3Â Men and women were held separately in the Twilight Prison, so having such needs was as normal as normal could be.
The man was silent for a moment: âYou [formal] think too highly of me.â
âI just want to know, are you really a cat?â The man sat on the floor, and in the end, decided to keep a safe distance from Yan Leyang; he hadnât forgotten about Yan Leyangâs speed.
âYeah.â Yan Leyang scratched his head, âDo I not look like one?â
The man didnât reply to him, and just changed the topic: âI want to collaborate with you.â
Collaboration? Yan Leyang stared at the guy for a while, and then suddenly hit his head: âI remember now, arenât you that guy who was punching someone in front of my door earlier?!â
âYes.â the man decided not to fool him, âthat guy cheated my feelings.â
âGood grief.â Yan Leyang sat up straight, âWhat happened?â
âHe sought me for divine protection, then afterwards, I noticed that this guy also slept with an Anaconda.â The man was afraid that Yan Leyang wouldnât believe him, and so he said quite detailedly, âat the time of catching them in the act, that snake was on top of his body.â
âWoah, I canât listen to this.â Yan Leyang gave the man a bottle of water, âBro, you seriously like him?â
âHeâs alright, I canât get out anyways, I just wanted to have a better life.â The manâs expression was quite calm. He took a drink from the water and said, âdonât look at my fierce fighting, I didnât really exert much strength, otherwise he would have died long ago. Later, when I asked around, I found out that this guy was f-king keeping an improper boy-boy relationship with several other people.â
âGood grief.â Yan Leyang narrowed his eyebrows and shook his head, âBro, you are so miserable.â
ââŚâŚ..â the man was silent for a while as he faced Yan Leyangâs spirited graze, âare you that happy to hear that?â
Yan Leyang hesitated for a while, then slapped his thigh and stood up: âHow could I, am I that kind of person?â 4
ăAre you not? By the way, whatâs the deal with you cat clan not knowing this guyâs weird/strange fighting strength?ă
ăEver since he beat the black bear, Iâve been thinking, how the heck did he fail his assassination?ă
ăHas anyone else noticed that this guyâs eyes lit up when he said, âI canât listen to thisâ?ă
ăGood grief, heâs eager for this crocodile to say it in great detail.ă
ăThis crocodile was too dishonest. 5 Was he knocked too hard? He was hit and sent flying.ă
âBut you have to be honest with me, if we do work together, you wouldnât have any other thoughts towards me?â At that moment, Yan Leyang sized the big guy up and was convinced that this guyâs body build shouldnât be some gigantic beast, âWhatâs your original form?â
âCaiman Crocodile. My name is Dai Zu.â When Dai Zu said this, he lifted his head to stare at Yan Leyang for a while.
To be honest, Yan Leyangâs appearance was really strong. It was especially suited to oneâs taste, the type that was very popular; with that cold and aloof manner.
But Yan Leyangâs overall impression gave Dai Zu the feeling of an anglerfish. Now, this beautiful appearance was like the anglerfishâs bait. It was very eye-catching and attractive, but if one truly dared to get close and try to take a bite, It was estimated that what awaited him was a big, bloody mouth.
âI probably wouldnât have any other thoughts.â Dai Zu said sincerely, âI probably wouldnât be able to beat your[formal] slim arms and legs.â
âI have no advantage here, as you can see, I would probably just be able to live a little longer. I am quite knowledgeable about the criminals here at the gathering spot.â Dai Zu placed the water bottle that had been drunk onto the ground.
âI only want to continue to live.â Dai Zu said seriously, âI heard that you got in because you tried to assassinate the prince. You are different from the other criminals.â
Yan Leyang understood what Dai Zu meant. Those who could enter âTwilightâ were all criminals who were wicked beyond all redemption 6, but Yan Leyang, who had tried to assassinate the prince, was different. As everyone knew, the current king of the cat clanâs galaxy was a foolish guy. Or well he was a foolish person who had been elected twice.
There were seven residential planets in the cat clanâs galaxy, but initially there had actually been eight of them. However, this eighth planet had been bombed and destroyed 60 or so years ago during the huge war between the falcon and the python.
The fight between other clans wound up destroying one of their clanâs planets, leaving countless people dead, yet the royal family didnât even let out a fart. 7
So strictly speaking, Yan Leyangâs behavior should have been regarded as a revolutionary action and he should have been seen as a person with great ideological awareness, which was quite different from the rest of those marginalized guys.
Yan Leyang himself knew that in the novel, the crown prince of the cat clan was not someone to be messed with.  8 He was a lot more capable than his father and grandfather. He was quite intelligent/His brain remained quite good, from the beginning of the story plot to the end.
Obviously, this guy had pulled a cannon fodderâs action of throwing the protagonist into prison, but later on, not only did he not have any accident, but even after rising to power, he had cooperated with the male lead and unified several big races in the league, elevating the cat clan from their embarrassing position, and ranking at the forefront of the carnivorous League.
âYou ask me to cooperate, but I know nothing about you, brother.â from the start Yan Leyang simply hadnât planned to talk about this so-called cooperation with this big brother that had just came to him by himself. Yan Leyang had just come into this world and he knew the plot, but what was described in the plot was only the characters who were related to the protagonist.
Moreover, the main venue of the novel was not in the prison. Yan Leyangâs transmigration into this world basically left him as helpless as a blind person. What could he do if he played himself to death by entering into a muddle-headed cooperation?
âI can let you have a look at my information.â Dai Zu stroked the gold metal on his neck and a blue, semi transparent board appeared with his details displayed on it.
Weapon-maker, charged for murdering other weapon makers.
âThey all slept with my fiancĂŠe. I found the lot of them together, and so I made the move.â Dai Zu said, his face devoid of expression, âthis was even on the news before, you should remember.â After all, the ones that he had killed were all higher ranked researchers.
âIâm not one of those antisocial criminals.â
âUhh, I donât have any impression.â Yan Leyang didnât have the so-called original hostâs memories, so how could he possibly know that news from years ago.
But, but, if this was true, then this Dai Zu was too miserable.
âIâm very sorry bro, I canât believe you.â Yan Leyang shrugged, âbut if thereâs a chance for us to get to know each other more, then we could probably collaborate into an alliance.â
Dai Zu nodded, seeming like he had already guessed that this would be the result. He got up and went out through the window again.
Itâs just that, as he threw one leg over the window and was about to cross, Yan Leyang suddenly stopped him: âBro, if I remember correctly, Caiman crocodiles also have an olive green color right.â
âCorrect, I am one.â Dai Zu questioned, âWhatâs wrong?â
âNothing.â Yan Leyang sighed, âI was just curious.â
Seeing that Dai Zu was still staring at him, Yan Leyang helplessly said: âIf you sunbathe a lot more, will you be able to turn brown?â
âWhy do I need to turn brown?â Dai Zu couldnât understand.
âChange your luck 9?â Yan Leyang didnât say it too explicitly, so as not to hurt a certain someoneâs fragile heart.
Dai Zu was silent for a long time. He couldnât understand Yan Leyangâs deep meaning. He cheered dryly: âYou[formal] sure are so funny.â
Footnotes
Kame: I honestlyâŚdonât know who the author is referring to at this point regarding the canon fodderâŚbecause itâs very vague. The only people Yan Leyang had met since transmigrating into this world were the person in the beginning that he knocked out, then this crocodile and the black bear at the food distribution spotâŚ.But in the raws, the author wrote âćŻçŤäťčżç˘°ä¸äşéŁä˝çŽç°ĺĺżâ (Literal translation is âafter all he had met that fellow cannon fodderââŚ) âŚ.So Iâm just going to leave it like thisâŚand we will see when I figure out who exactly the author is trying to refer to.. ĺ°ç˝č¸xiÇobĂĄiliÇn: Literal translation is âlittle white faceâ. It is a slang for an attractive young man/pretty boy. ĺ ĺ ťBÄoyÇng: To support someone financiallyâŚUsually in a form of quid pro quo. Or as someoneâs sugar daddy/sugar mummy. Kame: Yes. yes you are. Lol ĺżä¸ĺŽčŻtÄi bĂš shĂchĂŠng . So ĺżtè or well in this case is tÄi is a dialect for 太which means âtoo/veryâ. ĺŽčŻ means honest âä¸â = not, so âĺżä¸ĺŽčŻâ = not very honest . ĺćśä¸čľŚshĂâèbĂšshè: wicked beyond redemption. Basically they didnât give a shit about their citizens who had died from this crossfire. ç沚ççŻshÄngyĂłudedÄng : literal translation is âfuel-efficient lampâ. Basically someone who is easy to deal with/mess with. In this case, ä¸ćŻis not, so this is saying that they arenât someone who is easy to mess with.Â č˝Źčż zhuÇnyĂšn: It could be to ship an item, or it could be to change oneâs fortune (for the better). In this case, it is to change his fortune/life for better luck.  Basically since crocodiles are green and in Chinese slang, being green means that you got a green hat which meant getting cucked/being cheated on (like your partner cheated on you and gave you a âgreen hatâ (睿帽), and so Yan Leyang is implying that if Dai Zu changes his color, he might stop getting cucked.
