Once in a blue moon, she had a good sleep last night.

When Ai woke up, it was surprising that Lu hadn’t got up. He held her in his muscular arms and locked her legs with his. He seemed to be afraid that she would run away.

Ai blushed, and raised her head to look at Lu.

This was her first time to take a good look at Lu. She knew the man was handsome all the time, but because he was always cynical to her, she wasn’t in a good mood every time she saw him. Now looking at him sleeping without any aggression, she couldn’t help appreciating.

His eyebrows had a good shape and neat edge, which made Lu look imposing.

She looked at his nose bridge. It is said that men with high nose bridges usually care about relationship. Why she didn’t notice it before? He always made trouble with her and bullied her, while he did something touching out of no reason. He was a paradox indeed.

Hurting words came from his lips, but they felt extremely hot when she kissed them.

“What kind of person is he? Scheming? Aggressive? Has a sharp tongue? Or is he gentle? Considerate? Mild and wild? He treats someone nice but would rather not tell her?”

Staring at Lu, Ai suddenly felt like kissing him. Her body followed her mind. She leaned towards him slowly. When it was about to lay her lips on his, she felt his eyeballs moving.

His eyeballs moved a little. It seemed that he was going to wake up. She was startled and drew herself back and then closed her eyes, pretending to sleep.

Lu seemed not to notice it. He just went straight to wash himself after waking up.

Ai opened her eyes secretly. After making sure that he was gone, she rolled on the bed seizing the comforter.

That was embarrassing. She just lost herself in staring at Lu, and even wanted to kiss him. Did she become stupid because of his beating? Otherwise, why did she have such a ridiculous idea?

Let’s talk about Lu. He’d already been used to a fixed daily routine. No matter when he went to bed, he would wake up at 5 a. m. next day. He just pretended to sleep one second before Ai woke up. Because he suddenly grew curious about what Ai would do.

When she was leaning towards him, Lu had to admit that his heartbeat was racing. So he felt regretful about missing the kiss. But, it was enough.

He felt at ease, so did his body. But the one who was unaware of anything and concerned in bed was Ai. The comforter was crinkled by Ai as a piece of dried pickled vegetables.

When she was vexed, the phone on the table rang.

Umm? Who would call at this time? She looked at the screen. It was Ji Fanxing.

“Hello?” Ai pressed the “answer” key quickly.

“What the hell is this place? Why there is such a shabby airport? Isn’t it a military area? Shouldn’t it be like a fort? I am disappointed! ” As soon as the phone got through, there came a series of complaints from Ji.

Ai was stupefied at first and then immediately figured out the situation, “You have arrived? Fan?” Ji said before that she was going to come here, but Ai didn’t expect that she would get here so quickly.

“Yeah. Saner. I am going to count on you now. Come and pick me up!” Ji sighed. “It’s true that it is really good to be in mountains. No one recognized me. Hahahaha. I can finally get a chance to live an ordinary life”

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier if you wanted to come? So I can pick you up.” Ai couldn’t help complaining.

Lu just went out, “Friend? What friend?”

“She is my college classmate and best friend.” Ai jumped down from the bed while talking. But because she stayed on bed for too long, her legs were numb. “I can’t. She is waiting at the airport. ” Ai rushed into the bathroom.

Having completed discharge procedures from the hospital, Ai dragged Lu to set off for airport without breakfast.

Ai thought Ji was waiting anxiously. But it turned out to be that she was drinking coffee leisurely and bathing in the sunshine.

Ji was drinking coffee. She saw a woman with a blue nose and swollen face with gauze standing behind her. She had no time to care herher image, spitting out the coffee in her mouth, “Poof…Who are you?”

Thanks to Lu who dragged her back from the coffee, she didn’t get ruined by it. Ai was speechless , “Ji Fanxing. It is you calling me to pick you up but now you are asking who I am? ”

It was clearly Ai’s voice, but the face… Ji narrowed her eyes and tried to recognize her. Then she said in a dramatic way, “You…you are Saner?”

“Or who else am I ?” Ai rolled her eyes speechlessly.

“You…How did you become like this?” She turned her head and saw Lu, who looked tall and strong but cold and indifferent. She immediately slapped on the table and stood up, “Did he bully you? Where’s the rule? How dare you bully her?”

For there were no fans or paparazzi, Ji acted without concern. The noise attracted people around to turn their heads to them.

Ai was speechless , “It is not that. Don’t think too much. By the way, can you care about your behavior? You are Queen Ji.”

Ji glanced around, sneering, “This should be called straightforwardness ”

“Well. Don’t stand here chatting. Can we go?” Ai dragged her out from the airport.

Ji was in a good mood and looked unrestrained. But she only seemed to be on guard against Lu. She even walked between Ai and Lu deliberately to protect her.

Lu thought, ‘What a righteous man I am. Why I was treated like a bad guy by this woman?’

However, Ai couldn’t stop giggling. She introduced them to each other, “She is the one whom I told you before, my best friend and a famous actress Ji Fanxing. Fan, he is Lu Zhanke.”

She looked Lu up and down. She asked suspiciously, “ So he really didn’t bully you?”

Lu’s mouth twitched, “She was really an actress. Fantastically imaginative.” “It is not like what you think. It was yesterday…”

Then Ai told her everything that happened yesterday. But she left out something about the purse deliberately and only talked about the incident that she was g robbed because she was in front of Lu.
