<hr class="wp-block-separator">\n“Come to think of it, Noah-dono. I have a proposal.”\n
“Hm?”\n
As I leisurely watched the children play, Alissa suddenly started speaking. Standing up, her golden hair fluttered in the gentle breeze.\n
“Is something the matter?”\n
“Aah. It seems like Lute-san will be taking a while to finish drawing up the plans, and the children too are playing to their hearts’ content. Would Noah-dono like to step away from here for a bit?”\n
“Yeah, that should be fine.”\n
“Then allow me to guide you around the village. You’re still unaware of where everything is located, aren’t you?”\n
“Yeah, I guess you’re right.”\n</ins>\n\nIndeed, the only places in the village I knew were my home, Alissa’s and the Patriarch’s.\nI have no idea about anything else. How could I not have even realized this?\n
“In that case, please follow me. With that said, I don’t think it would even take that long.”\n
“Alright, I’ll be in your care, then.”\n
“Leave it to me.”\n
And so I moved away from the shady tree with her.\nIt seems like although my house was in the outskirts, all the other houses nearby were nothing but empty as well.\nWith the village being surrounded by a fence arranged in a quadrilateral for the sake of keeping monsters away, mine was in a little corner. Since the opposite side of my house was where the fence stood, everything in front of it was nothing but a large stretch of empty farmable land. Farmland though it may be, it was in ruins having been left completely unattended.\nOne of these days, I’ll need to start growing something or another here.\n</ins>\n\n“This would more or less be the village’s main street. You should be able to find most of your needs somewhere along here.”\n
“Fumu fumu.”\n
“Over there is the well where you’ll be able to pull up water for your daily necessities. It’s pretty crowded in the mornings, so it’d be a nice opportunity to get along with the residents here. Water is essential to life after all.”\n
“Indeed it is.”\n
Well, just because it was a small village, doesn’t mean it wasn’t spacious.\nThere’s no merchant’s office either, and it really did seem like they used only the bare minimum for daily life necessities.\n
“You may have the water jar made by Alberth-san over there. If you’d like furniture made, you may consult Hiero-san living in the building next to him. Allow me to make the requests on your behalf.”\n
“Ah, yeah. I’ll leave it to you, then.”\n
It’s fine if you let me request him on my own, you know.\nIt doesn’t bode well with me if the very first meeting is about asking him to make something for me.\n
“Moving on, that’s where the storehouse is.”\n
“Storedown”\n</ins>\n\n“Yes. All our yields are stored there for safekeeping. And if anybody needs something, they may fetch it from there too. Being your first time taking part in agriculture, once you’re done making your first yields, please store them in there. In exchange, please feel free to take back whatever is kept inside it, whenever needed.”\n
