Yukiya Kitahara(北原雪哉) now (雪耶): The protagonist. A junior high student, 14, and now a Snow girl. Short black hair, beautiful pale skin.

Syuuji Kitahara(北原修司): Yukiya’s father, and owner of the Snow House.(雪乃亭) Which is located in Hyousei Village(氷清村)

Yukino(雪乃): Yukiya’s mother, and is a snow woman/ Yuki Onna.

Hazuki Natsumi(夏美) and Saeki Tomonori(智則): Yukiya’s friends and classmates.

Kouko(凍子). The evil young Yuki Onna. Sharp eyes, and long black hair.

Soon after our journey, Natsumi-chan and I returned to our class.

However before we got back, there was some unusual buzz coming from the neighboring second year class.

“What’s going on. . ?”

“Oh, that?”

I asked Natsumi-chan, but she already knew. I guess the girls’ information network works fast.

“Actually there is another student besides Yukiya who just transferred today. However I only heard about it from a friend earlier. . .”

Eh? Another transfer student? But I didn’t see anyone else at the staff room. . .

I simply tilted my head. But Natsumi-chan later elaborated.

“It looks like her name is Hikura-san”(氷倉. TN: I can’t find the name for this).

“Eh? . . .Hikura-san?”

Natsumi-chan nodded.

Then somebody else interjected.

“It seems that the girl is a part of the Hikura group. Which also owns the Hikura hotel.”

I looked behind us, and saw somebody with there arms folded.

“Ah, Tomo- – -Saeki-kun.”

I almost slipped up there.

“Why are you standing there?”

Natsumi-chan was just playing the straight man, and asking why he came from behind us, but Tomonori didn’t care at all.

“I saw the transfer student earlier, and her being a part of the Hikura group is true. . .Also, I heard from some eyewitnesses that she came to school in a black fancy car.”

The Hikura Group are the owners of that huge hotel. . .

They are our commercial enemy, so I have complicated feelings about these turns of events.

But I do want to get a glimpse.

There were actually plenty of boys and girls in the hallway. All trying to catch a glimpse of them.

“Uhyo-!”

“Cool eyes.”

“Her body is so beautiful, but it seems frozen.”

“Aah, Kouko-san is so awesome!”

All I could hear were the praises coming from the onlookers.

Now I’m really curious. But this is really familiar to me.

Just a little while ago, it was me in the center.

I pushed further in, to finally get a view.

“Um, Kouko-san, I’m Tanaka Fumiko. Please treat me well.”

“Yes, nice to meet you.”

“I-If you have any questions, please ask me anything! Hikura-san!”

“Then I’ll ask you.”

“Yes anything! Please tell me anything.”

Due to the fact she is the daughter of a massive conglomerate, and has the atmosphere of a queen, she already has a posse of two classmates.

Hmm. Kouko. . .That sounds familiar. . .

It’s on the tip of my tongue. I know I heard it before. It was something recently too.

“Hey, why did Kouko-san transfer to our school?”

“Ah yes yes. Was I supposed to go to a famous all girl school in Tokyo?”

She had a smile on her face as she said it with an elegant but quiet tone.

“Well, my mother told me I had to explore, and learn about the world and people- – -.”

Then gracefully brushed her hair.

Her admirers were amazed. It was evident that she was not like us ordinary folks.

But why does that feel weird?

That sounds like a corny movie script.

“Uh? Kouko-san. Your arm. . .What happened? It’s wrapped in bandages. . .”

One of the surrounding girls noticed that her right arm was wrapped up.

“Aah, this? There was a vulgar, crude, clumsy, monkey that attacked me. . .”

“Eh? A monkey? That must have been awful.”

“Oh it was. It was a poorly trained female animal. Hohoho.”

It was then that the one named Kouko noticed me standing behind some of the onlookers.

“Hoho. ho. . .”

Our eyes met. It was then I realized who she was.

““You’re that!””

We both said at the same time.

That is why she seemed so familiar.

Long dark black hair, with sharp eyes and a noble look.

That person. . .Is the Yuki Onna at the hut!

“That evil woman!”

“That bitch!”

We both realized it seemed, as we pointed at each other.

“Why are you here!?”

The girl named Kouko stood up from her desk as she glared at me.

Hmm, her real personality is showing.

Natsumi-chan was also looking at us in disbelief.

“Uh? Do you guys know each other? Is she perhaps a friend?”

However I immediately denied it.

“With that person?!”

“It’s nothing like that!”

Then her companions raised their voices.

“Um? K-Kouko. . .-san?”

“Um? You’re from Tokyo, right?”

The entourage was dumbfounded by how Hikura’s entire atmosphere and tone flipped.

“That time you ruined our plans. I’ll never forget that.”

“That’s my line!”

Wait? Is she my rival?

Was it fate?

The surroundings were buzzing. As the two beautiful transfer students, with contrasting atmospheres, confronted each other.

It was about to become the gossip of the school.

It can never be that easy.

Not only am I already having to suffer from going to school as a girl, the headaches keep piling up.

The store, school, being a Yuki Onna- – -and now her!?

I’m at my wit’s end.

And that is the finish of part 1. Well there will be no difference in chapter releases as the other parts are already finished. But now the story begins.

Also, I love that Kouko is now a main character. I love her. I love writing dialogue for her. Translating bad guys, especially arrogant once, is the most fun I have ever had while translating. So I’m looking forward to that now.
